1. Download The Fortinet Certificate from above.

2. Navigate to the settings menu on the phone.

3. Using the search box, Type CA Certificate.

4. Select Install CA Certificates. (if nothing happens the phone is under Parent Control and has been restricted, they must remove this to be able to install the certificate).

5. A file manager type window will open, this is where you will be able to find the downloaded certificates under ‘Phone Storage’, select the certificate ‘Fortinet’ and it will install onto the phone.

NOTE : particularly with Google Pixel Phones, the Malvern Wireless Certificate is required to connect to the Wi-Fi (Certificate is above). This is slightly different to the above:

1. Download the Malvern Wireless Certificate from above.

2. Navigate to the settings menu on the phone.

3. Using the search box, Type WiFi Certificate.

4. Select Install WiFi Certificates. (if nothing happens the phone is under Parent Control and has been restricted, they must remove this to be able to install the certificate).

5. A file manager type window will open, this is where you will be able to find the downloaded certificates under ‘Phone Storage’, select the certificate ‘Malvern Wireless’ and it will install onto the phone.

6. If you are asked for an Extraction password use - Malvern

Now the certificates are installed, you can go ahead and connect to Malvern WiFi As follows:

1. On your Android, Navigate to the WiFi Connections within your settings menu.

2. Select ‘Malvern WiFi’ from the list of available WiFi networks.

3. On the next screen, ensure all the fields are populated as follows:

4. Under “EAP method”, select “PEAP”.

5. Under ”Phase 2 authentication”, select “MSCHAPV2”.

6. Under “CA certificate”, select “Fortinet. (If the phone is a Pixel or not connecting using the Forti Cert, Select “Malvern” (the extraction name))

7. Under “Identity”, type your Malvern College network username. (E.G stu.myfirstandlastname)

8. Leave “Anonymous Identity” blank.

9. Under “Password”, type your Malvern College password.

10. Select connect and your Android device should connect to the WiFi.
